Behind the Scenes at CTG: What Drives Our Innovation

Crowd Tech Group, Inc. (CTG) is on a mission to revolutionize the event experience, but how do we plan on achieving this goal? In this article, we offer a glimpse behind the curtain, delving into our creative processes, team skills, and why we should be your trusted choice in the events industry.

Merging Personal Experiences with Technological Advancements

At CTG, our creative process is deeply rooted in personal experiences. We draw from our own moments attending events, both the highs and the lows, and brainstorm how technology could elevate these experiences. Feedback from users is a key element of our creative process. At the end of each event, we gather insights from our users to understand their experiences, using this information to enhance our platform continually.

Our guiding principle is to question everything. We challenge ourselves to identify problems that might be overlooked because they aren't immediately apparent. Technological advancements over the past five years have been substantial, yet the event experience for many guests has remained stagnant. We're determined to bridge that gap. To stay efficient and responsive, we employ Agile methodologies in our product development process. This approach keeps our team nimble, allowing us to iterate quickly and adapt to changes as they come.

Our Team: A Unique Blend of Skills and Perspectives

The CTG team is a diverse group with over 50 years of combined experience in Software and Technology, spanning roles in Testing, Software Development, and Anthropology. Our team includes members who come from non-technology backgrounds, further enhancing the diversity of our perspectives. This eclectic blend of skills and experiences gives us a unique advantage, fueling our innovative thinking.

Our CEO has a master's degree in Management of IT and a longstanding career as a software engineer and leader in Technology. Our co-founders, Danny and Bob have extensive experience in technology testing and not-for-profit international development, bringing an essential balance of meticulous scrutiny and out-of-the-box ideation. Our partner, Jamie, has worked with esteemed organizations like NASA and WHO, designing Challenge Competitions to unearth unique solutions for complex problems.

Trustworthiness: Proven Success Stories and An Eye on The Future

Though CTG may not yet have amassed awards or patents, we have an array of success stories that underscore our reliability and potential. For instance, our crowd-voting-for-the-next-song service was commissioned for a wedding in San Diego, where we gathered an astounding 18,000 votes for songs. This overwhelming response attests to the demand for engagement at events and validates our mission.

Looking ahead, we have over 30 different features and experiences in our product roadmap. These upcoming features range from music-related enhancements to games and various event-experience augmenters suitable for karaoke nights, DJ battles, charity fundraisers, and more.
